Corporate/Commercial Senior Associate

This is a unique opportunity to achieve Partnership within a very fast timeframe (approximately 12-24 months).  You will automatically benefit from inheriting all the corporate and commercial work that will flow through from a partner who has recently taken their large practice to this boutique firm. 

Although this is a boutique environment, the lawyers at the firm are frequently working on top tier matters – all the while enjoying the flexibility, freedoms and career progression that is sometimes inaccessible within larger firm environments.

Day to day you will be working with a well renowned, senior partner and you will specialise across a number of clients (including some ASX listed) within the mining and resources, major infrastructure and Agribusiness space.

Ideally you will be coming from either a high profile boutique, mid tier or larger firm environment where you will have gained specialist corporate advisory experience, ideally within mining and resources law.

The successful candidate will be working at a Senior Associate or Special Counsel level (with at least 5-6 years PAE+) with the following experience:

• corporate advisory;
• incorporated and unincorporated joint ventures;
• off take agreements, renewable documents, supply contracts
• capital raising;
• mergers and acquisitions;
• disposal of companies through asset sales and share sales;
• corporate due diligence;
• non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements
