Health and Safety Manager

My client works in a heavy industry environment with a large fleet from their Auckland base.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, Health and Safety professional that wants to join a fast paced, growing business.
This role would suit someone coming from a heavy industry in a multi-fleet environment.

The Role:

As a Health & Safety Manager – this being a key leadership and influencing role responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for Health, Safety and Risk Management across the business. The roles’ span covers the safety and risk for people, assets, property and environment.
In a highly safety sensitive, regulated environment, the role is key to promote, champion and drive continual improvement in safety and risk management to create a positive health and safety culture.

Job Requirements:

• Have at least 10 years+ experience working within health and safety in heavy industries, ideally with a risk background
• Great communication skills
• A team player who enjoys their work.
• Working well under pressure
• Safety focused 
• Valid New Zealand drivers license.
• New Zealand working rights
