The duties would include
  
Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement and maintain best practices, policies, and procedures for the firm’s operations.
  • Manage office administration, including IT, facilities, and supplier relationships.
  • Manage the junior office staff person
  • Assist the Directors in undertaking their roles

Financial & Compliance Oversight:

  • Monitor engagement & invoicing processes.

Client & Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and enhance client relationships by ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee client onboarding and ensure a smooth experience for new and existing clients.
  • Assist in developing strategies to attract and retain clients.
  • Maintain and update client databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Work in Progress (WIP) Management:

  • Monitor and manage WIP reports to track ongoing client work and project progress.
  • Monitoring of Client lodgement program
  • Collaborate with accountants and partners to ensure timely billing and completion of engagements.
  • Manage the engagement workflow and invoicing process.
  • Prepare and present regular WIP performance reports to the directors

Team Leadership & HR:

  • Manage and support administrative personnel.
  • staff, including accountants, administrative personnel, and support teams.

Social & Team Coordination:

  • Plan and coordinate company social events, team-building activities, and networking opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Organise staff meetings, celebrations, and community involvement activities.
