The Role

Due to continued growth in their commercial litigation team, the firm are now seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation lawyer with a minimum of five years PAE experience upwards.  

You will work closely with a busy litigation partner who has a diverse practice of work from general commercial litigation, B&C, Insolvency & Debt Recovery, Trade Restraints, Professional Negligence etc etc.  Necessary experience for the role will include:

  • High level drafting experience including pleadings, applications and supporting affidavits, statutory demands and commercial disputes etc
  • Advising and representing clients in a range of matters such as Insolvency and Bankruptcy, contractual disputes, property and leasing disputes, debt recovery, building and construction disputes
  • Court Appearances and representations – including briefing and instructing counsel to conduct appearances.
  • Positive attitude with a high emphasis being placed on competency. 

The firm are open to applications from candidates up to and including Special Counsel level.  There is a clear path (and more than a sufficient workflow) for progression to Partnership.
